Apps that bait you with brief samples of their wonderful ability before gauging you for in-app purch

I took a photo of a tree on Chinatown today because it reminded me of my unending hunt for oaks. I dunno if the tree I photographed was indeed an oak tree. I'm no expert, but it has a slight resemblance.

This is not the photo I shot of a possible oak.

I forgot the name of the app I used because I deleted it; and with it all the photos I used with it. Apparently I had run out of film and the only way to get more exposure from the camera app was to pay 1.99 to go premium. Or, I could watch four ads.

This photo I took was shot using an app called InstaMini

InstaMini allows a few exposure before it runs out, but it refreshes camera with more film on a daily basis.

I'm still going around with InstaMini because it hasn't left me high and dry with no film yet. I'll return to the tree one of these days to take another picture of it. Maybe, instead of a regular camera, I'll use something like PlantSnap.
