Covid 19 is a bastard. Delta and 0micron variants, COVID's lil' bro & sis, suck it

I've got the worst cough. Habit burgers no longer has the punch I like, the one that contains ginger. Ginger is the herbal remedy I've used in the past for chest congestion. The cough drops help, but I feel like I just can't clear my lungs.

I never liked making ginger tea. Red onion tea is also useful for coughs, but I rarely have that in the kitchen. I'm planning on buying lunch at Yoshinoya just to ask for their pickled ginger packets.

I honestly don't feel like I have the dreaded disease, but because I've heard that 0micron isn't as harsh as Delta, just more contagious, perhaps I'm wrong. The bug I came down with in 2020 was stronger than what I have now. Too bad I never tested in 2020 to see if it was Covid.

I'm due for a booster in February and my lungs are telling me maybe it isn't such a bad idea to be fully fully vaccinated. I had been thinking of bypassing the booster shot unless it was mandatory for work, but what with my sinus trouble while sleeping and the fluid in my lungs, the smart thing to do is to get that shot.

Why is it taking so long to get my test results?

Forty minutes later, I submit my q-tip with my boogers to the collection of test tubes

That was Wednesday. I'm still waiting for my results! Buggers.
