DXing website transmitters and my Sangean sw radio

I usually try to tune the sw radio to #alexjones which seems to be broadcasting on 12160KHz. I cannot say whether it’s live or not, and it’s hard to make sense of his voice as static obstructs his sentences every other word. I thought websdr.ewi.utwente.nl:8901 might have a better reception but I think I might have to find an online repeater closer to the continent because I get nothing. The radio broadcast is so static, I can’t even acknowledge whether he’s addressing current events like the 2nc impeachment trial.
