This is what I've got so far. I'm learning to use COLUMNS, COUNTIF, SMALL and FREQUENCY (among other Excel function commands.) I dubplicated a formula for filtering duplicates. Ironic, isn't it. The problem is, I don't want to filter the duplicates, I want to filter out the empty spaces. There is a helpful assortment of sites focused on spreadsheet instruction and one of them is called Officekb. In it, is an entry made by JMB. I am using the idea he/she had for handling data with blank cells, but I can't seem to weed out the function that eliminates duplicate occurances. So, it looks like I'm not wasting time after all, and more important… I'm not a dork.
