Have you sold your soul to the devil yet? What are you waiting for?

The other day, somebody told me that in California, the divorce law is based on something called "No fault", which was explained to me that if one side of a marriage files for divorce, he/she is granted a divorce, no ifs, ands or buts. That's very discomforting because I've always felt that being selective meant I would find the perfect woman to stay married to, but now I see it's been a wasted effort. The longer I wait to find this special person, the shorter we'll have to put up with ourselves because, let's face it, life is only getting shorter and shorter. It might seem like it's getting longer, but I believe that's attributed to having to live with another person.

I always felt that getting married would mean that I would not be able to pursue my dreams of becoming a cartoonist. Not that I have, but the luxury of not having to clean the house, wash the dishes, mow the lawn, change diapers has left me with a lot of spare time to learn to play the harmonica, the guitar, improve my inking/lettering skills with calligraphy classes, etc. It's been a real blast making pizza in a wood fire oven.

On the brighter side, I've stumbled onto a way to organize my thoughts with that complex screenwriting application PowerStructure. I'm looking forward to getting more work done on it.
