Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston make the perfect couple if love and relationships can be interpretted as a comedy when the onset of financial disaster sets in. The movie starts out with a scene of a married couple talking to a real estate agent who is about to make a killing selling the two lovebirds a loft. Thinking that they are financially stable, they decide to sign on the dotted line.
While there may be hundreds of critics out there blasting this movie with bad reviews, I felt I could related with it. I don't know why I have an attraction to loft living. My own current living arrangement lacks very little of anything I might benefit to gain from living in a loft. I think there should be a movie that exploits the ins and outs of living in a loft, as I'm sure I'm not the only one out there who wishes he could afford investing in a loft. In a nutshell, that's practically all that kept my attention in this movie active. It seemed to speak to me through the characters' ideals, but I wouldn't have minded one bit if Jennifer Anniston bared her boobs for the camera instead of seeing a naked dude's dong dangling everywhere.
Long story short, the lovebirds lose their ability to continue payments and are forced to relocate to Georgia where Paul Rudd's character has a brother willing to lend a helping hand. Sorry if you think I may be spoiling this film for you. I just don't see the point in taking precautions since this was one of those movies where not even the characters' names seem to be of any significance. The adventure begins as they pack their bags and start off for Georgia. It feels like the writers simply poked fun at the awkwardness of living together as the humor focused on fart jokes, argument jokes, differences in music taste jokes and bowel movement humor. I'm sure somebody got kicked in the balls too, as it seems this type of comedy almost always has some kind of misfortune befall an unsuspecting character. It helps to jolt the audience in an otherwise dull moment. The moral I got out of this movie is, when you are married to a sexy lady like Jennifer Anniston, forgiveness is everything.
