Although this place was nice as a testing area, on the was back I caught a sign for tree bone. Rambler said Hearst Castle was about twenty miles from Ragged Point. Nacimiento Ferguson was near Tree Bones, though I cannot remember if it was before or after the twisty road. If I can save enough money, my next vacation might include actually taking in a Hearst Castle tour, and staying at Tree Bones. First I would have to check how biker friendly they are since their Web site plainly places them as environmentalists. Riding bikes for miles burns a lot of fuel which might be seen quite wasteful to them since riding is mostly about the thrill and the rush, not about getting from point A to point B.
