Interesting viewpoint on the continuous cyber saga over intellectual property. Recalling the way so many cyber space providers shut down their services (hometown.aol.com, geocities.com, home.att.net, etc.) leaving their customers to recuperate their own online material however they can, I totally see how important it is now for online publishers to own their own stuff even if that means hosting their own site on their own server and subjecting themselves to that form of practices major issues. Hackers.
If you care about your online presence, you must own it. I do, and that’s why my email address has always been at my own domain, not the domain of any employer or webmail service.-
