A stack of childrens books, which were left in the bookdrop, were soaked in a liquid substance. The books affected all seemed to be on the subject of Chumash Indians. This job of clearing barcoded items on a computer database really exposes one to all areas of life. Having never changed a diaper in my life, I can imagine that it is really not as difficult as most mothers might have you believe. I'm no biochemist, but it's hard not to wonder if the yellow liquid on the bookcover wasn't indeed urine from a loiterer who, thinking it would be funny to aim his stream up and into the book slot, managed to drench the items that fell at the top of the stack, from the previous patron to use the bookdrop to return their books.
