ecently, things have looked a little grim, but in fact, my life is really not that bad. Honestly. The only thing missing is somebody to share it with but my concept of living with someone is still in the dark ages. I find myself writing in my blog about things that may lend support to my ideals of which obviously hinder the ability to share a complacent inhibitor. Anybody else would no doubt take the side "life's too short". I agree. Everything is meaningless unless you have somebody to share it with; of course, I wouldn't know because that situation has never presented itself.

Ben Affleck appeared in a film called Boiler room in 2000, and another (drama/thriller) called Changing lanes. Here's a description of both flicks.

2000 A college dropout gets a job as a broker for a suburban investment firm, which puts him on the fast track to success, but the job might not be as legitimate as it sounds.

2002 The story of what happens one day in New York when a young lawyer and a businessman share a small automobile accident on F.D.R. Drive and their mutual road rage escalates into feud.

The first thing I notice, however, is that the cityscape still contains the twin towers. I hope Ben Affleck continues making great films. I'm going to make a point to keep track of his current projects. Both, Boiler… and Changing… are categorized drama/thriller. What makes these two films so intriguing to me is that one was before the September 11 attacks in NY and DC, and the other afterwards. So let it be the first time I say that I know movies are purely fiction, but I still have the TV Guide for date September 2 and the LA Weekly for date September 14-20 and premium channels were broadcasting Wall Street, a movie categorized under the genre CRIME; and theatres were were advertizing engagements for La virgen de los sicarios, genre: CRIME, The others genre: HORROR, MYSTERY, THRILLER, and The glass house genre: THRILLER.

I forget sometimes that the idiom 'life imitates art' is not to be taken literally, hence this mindset that there were signs before the terrorists struck which a community, often considered to be in touch with the ethereal, might've foreseen in a subliminal level. The reports in the media are that the CIA knew something was up, and if there is an indication by the titles of motion pictures, so did artists. The difference is, artists have a survival instinct that only allows for their own well being and government entities strive for the salvation of masses of citizens. Ironically enough, starving artists can't be to blame for knowing and well off government officials can't be helped for listening to them.
