Attack of the killer flies

Yesterday I noticed flies swarming everywhere in my house. I have an antenna cable coming in through one of the windows and I made some minor adjustments so that the window would close with a better seal, but still there are flies. I must've killed ten of them yesterday, and this morning I wake up to another half dozen. **SOB** I really hate flies! I think they're getting in thru the flue in my chimney since I have a non-functioning damper that won't close. It's driving me crazy. I thought of taking one of those insecticide candle buckets and lighting it in the chimney so the smoke would slowly rise and discourage entry through the chimney. I think this happens regularly every summer. AAahhhhhhhh!!!!!!
