OK, who took my chair?

Does anybody else receive spam from senders with return addresses like gayroughneck and beartrapping? While I adjust my filters to rid my e-mail reading software from these annoying ads, what I really should be doing is checking the new web sites I've recently registered myself on, but it goes with the territory to register on as many blogs for the sake of exposure, and expose one's e-mail address to the spamming community.

An interesting article for writers out there in the 4/21/8 issue of Time called Writers Rule! by Michael Kinsley. The whole issue seems to have some interesting reads, ranging from "How his mom made Obama" to "A beer lover's paradise".

I wanted to go back and edit my entry from Three Kings. After a second viewing, I feel I may have been a bit hastie. I like the dialog because there isn't very much cursing in the film. Considering the plot is about American soldiers during the Gulf war Desert Storm invasion of Iraq, one would imagine that the script would be filled with curse words. They do use the term rag heads and camel jockey to refer to the iraqis, but the Kurds come right back and use a term I've never heard before to refer to the Americans. Hm, I may just need to watch that movie one last time to get the correct spelling of it. The screenplay would be nice too. I'm on it.

It's a long way to nowhere and I'm leaving very soon
On the way we pass so close to the back side of the moon
Hey join the traveler if you got nowhere to go
Hang your head and take my hand it's the only road I know

Oh, lonely is the word, yeah yeah yeah!

I've been higher than stardust, I've been seen upon the sun
I used to count in millions then, but now I only count in one
Come on join the trav'ler if you got nowhere to go
Hang your head and take my hand it's the only road I know

Yeah, lonely is the word
Got to be the saddest sound I've ever heard

Yeah, lonely its the name
Maybe life's a losing game?
