I'm getting hungry. Yesterday I had cottage cheese with peaches and today I had the same thing for lunch. I'm thinking of having one more serving of that stuff, which will kill the container of cottage cheese I have in the fridge. Meanwhile, I was planning on going to a movie and feeding on a hot dogs, pop corn, coke, candy, etc. when I realized that there's lots of good food being sold on Sunset Blvd. Because admission to the SJ now costs money, I don't think I'll be doing that this year.
There doesn't seem to be anything out in movies that I'm interestes in seeing. There's something called SPECIAL SCREENING at a few of the regular theaters I buy tickets for, but I've never heard of that movie. When I looked it up on IMDB, I realize that the title of whatever is showing at that theater is not being listed on myyahoo.com So, I'm thinking of calling the theatre to find out what it is.
In the meantime, here is how my moviepig.com ratings differ from last years. In March 2006, I listed PASSION OF THE CHRIST as my #1 film (followed by CLOSER). Today CLOSER precedes PASSION by one film, 40 YEAR OLD VIRGIN. Another peculiarity is 40 year old virgin was listed as #4 in 2006, right after A VERY LONG ENGAGEMENT, but today it's in my top 3 following FAY GRIM, and KINGDOM OF HEAVEN. WTF? I can't even rate the films I've already rated in the past because I contradict myself. I wonder if I can use the DVD release of the editor's cut as an excuse for this inconsistency. If I could do that, then I should be able to also compare cable broadcasts with DVD version; hell, I think I'd even be able to compare blue laser and hi-def DVDs with regular DVDs and cable releases. Critics have it good now.
